Hunter says I need to update, which is a fair point. Though it’s not going to be anything particularly exciting today.
I’m back out in Hanover after a long, long drive from Michigan on Friday. A quick look at Niagara Falls (one of the country’s most impressive landmarks), a long wait at the border, a meandering effort to find something to eat in Syracuse, and a never-ending trek in the late hours of the night through upstate New York and Vermont.
It’s been a very relaxing weekend back home – kayaking and swimming in the Connecticut River, some Thai and Indian food, and a little Ticket to Ride. The plan for the next of the week is to go hiking on the Appalachian Trail, which should be pretty awesome, but does mean I’ll be slow about updating for the rest of the week, too. I apologize in advance.
In the meantime, here’s a few great road-songs. Some classic 90s tunes:
Goddess on a Highway – Mercury Rev
Car – Built to Spill
