Slate has a contest, asking for reading to “find a way to pass the health care bill.”
I have an idea.
218 Democrats in the House should stop being craven, recognize that failure to act on this condemns millions to worse (or no) health care AND probably puts the him or herself in serious electoral jeopardy come November and just pass the damn Senate bill.
How about that?
I feel like you could write a book about the fact that the rules of the contest forbid your answer.
I also found that entertaining (and by entertaining I mean thoroughly depressing), but just didn't have the energy to comment about it.
Sigh.
