I wasn’t going to post on The Broken West, since virtually every other blog in the world already has, but since I’ve decided to highlight some of the good shows at SXSW, I couldn’t let them slip past again.
So It Goes – The Broken West
If you like power-pop in the vein of Sloan, Teenage Fanclub, the Posies, and a whole slew of other great bands from the early 90s, you’ll probably like The Broken West, too. And if you also like Big Star, the Byrds, and early Wilco then the dappled bits of Americana which adorn these tracks will only make you swoon all the more.
