We were made to fail

It’s my birthday today, and a very fine birthday it’s been. Unfortunately I’ve got a lot I need to get done this evening, so I’ve got to be short and to the point today.

The band is called Red Collar. They suggest the sound is a little like “Springsteen fronting Fugazi” which is reasonably fair. I might also suggest they sound like the mental state in between the move from Archers of Loaf to Crooked Fingers.

Used Guitars
Stay

Both songs are good, but you’ll really want to give “Used Guitars” a listen. Ragged and soulful in all the ways you’d expect from the folks mentioned above, and with a great tune to boot. It’s certainly one of the best songs I’ve heard this summer.

These tracks are from the Hands Up EP, and there’s a full-length coming soon.
