Requires bravery, more than any of us can say

Heroes – Twiggy Frostbite

A moon setting over a stormy ocean. A man stands at his window watching the light scatter itself on the crashing waves. Far in the distance a light flashes, once every few seconds – a lonely lighthouse. He turns away, takes a sip of brandy. The wind continues to howl outside but the children pay it no mind as they race around the tree, hanging lights and ornaments, flushed with the thought of the coming winter: of snow and presents and a brief respite from school. And out from the radio drifts this song, sounding like a Scandinavian Regina Spektor with orchestration from Portishead.

The band is (somewhat unfortunately) called Twiggy Frostbite, and their debut album Through Fire will be available in early 2009.
